Life of Pi is an enthralling novel detailing Piscine Patel's grueling journey through the ocean--on a life boat with a tiger. The background information listed before and the unique prose will hook readers quickly and make them want to read more. By the time Pi is on the boat, you can't stop reading. His thought processes and delirious musings and never-ending fight for survival drive the novel from then on out, making for an unstoppable read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
